REVIEW -
TimeForKids.com is a site with one objective...getting kids to read. The latest stories that interest kids are posted, encouraging kids to learn more about the world we live in. Articles are current, featuring age appropriate topics in both National and World News. The Homework Helper has a wonderful, Rapid Research feature that is divided by subject. Links to additional sites are suggested pertaining to specific topics. Games is a section that every kid will enjoy, with several trivia challenges. Earth Friendly House Hunt is a wonderful, animated game where kids can learn more ways of being green. The Nominee game is a series of presidential questions and Don't Get Stuck With The Fruitcake is a game that can be played with one or two players. Around the World feature teaches kids all about other countries, with a vast array of facts. This brightly colored, animated site holds something for every age child. All the features are clearly marked and easy to access. There is also a Teachers Page that helps educate kids on current events using articles, contests, challenges and Special Features. Teachers can also order Time for Kids magazine to use in the classroom. TimeForKids.com helps kids enjoy learning by peaking the interests of a child and prompting them to read. This site makes reading fun for kids of all ages.
