REVIEW - A seed cooperative that specializes in the best of cold-hardy selections. As a Maine based company, the site supplies a wide variety of seeds for flowers, herbs, and vegetables as well as bulbs, perennials, and fruit trees that can withstand the Northeastern climate. Detailed descriptions and care advice are given for each seed or plant allowing you to maintain a healthy and successful garden. The site's plant charts are quite helpful. The Ratings Guy also loves the company's selection of certified organic seeds and its dedication to the safe seed pledge, in which they "will not knowingly buy or sell genetically engineered seeds or plants". Plant varieties are shipped on a seasonal basis, with organic fertilizers and pest controls, hand tools, books, and other supplies available to any gardener year-round. This is an excellent site that is "committed to supporting organic and intelligent farming and gardening"!
