Vermont Country Store – VermontCountryStore.com - is the site to visit if your are feeling nostalgic during the holiday season. If you can tear yourself away from all the cool products this general store has to offer and go directly to the Food section, you will be rewarded with a vast selection of unusual goodies. Irish whiskey cake, figgy pudding, mince pies, pumpkin rolls and sugarplums are just a sprinkling of the old fashion treats on hand. One of Vermont Country Store's most popular holiday food items and rightly so I might add, is the Vermont Sunday Breakfast, consisting of buttermilk-maple pancake mix, blueberry preserves, cob-smoked bacon and of course Vermont grade A maple syrup. Lobster Newburg, creamed Finnan Haddie, Welsh rarebit and New England clam chowder will warm the cockles of your heart. Lots of products and fun things to try to remember the smells and taste of days gone by...and you don't have to be a Yankee to enjoy them!
