REVIEW -
Grandmas Chicken Soup – is flavorful, homemade soup in every sense of the word. Brother and sister team, Betsy and David, have been marketing their Bubby's (Yiddish for Grandma) chicken soup for twelve years. The soup arrives at your door, expertly packaged and quick frozen in a clear plastic jug. All the recipient need do is heat, to serve up this delicious smelling, robust chicken soup. Fresh chunks of chicken, giant slices of fresh carrots, celery, onion, noodles or matzo balls are simmered with a lot of love to create such honest chicken soup. The broth stands on its own as the real deal...you can taste the chicken flavor! There really is nothing better on a cold winter day, than a cup of homemade soup and what a great pick-me-up this would make for someone under the weather! I must admit, I was skeptical at first. How could an on-line product such as this, really taste homemade? To our delight, we could not tell the difference between this and my own homemade soup (which is pretty darn good by the way). There is nothing concentrated, no water needs to be added and there is no "canned soup consistency" here. Grandma's Chicken Soup is a fabulous idea to give and receive and Betsy and Dave have backed up their great idea with a hearty brew.
