REVIEW -
Fat Cat Scones – provide gourmet frozen scones that you bake fresh and serve warm from the oven. Life long pals, Eric Finnerty and Anthony Van Rees, have been creating perfect scones since 2002. So, what is a scone? It is a long held Scottish traditional quick bread, baked on a griddle and made with oats. Fat Cat Scones mission, beyond their wonderful customer service which we can attest too, is determined to make a "scone lover out of you". I must say, for The Ratings Guy staff, they have accomplished their goal. What makes these scones rise above all the rest, is their moistness and fresh flavor selections. From my experience, many scones are dry and somewhat flat in taste...not Fat Cat Scones however. These little morsels, bake up to a melt in your mouth consistency, bursting with flavors such as peach with passion fruit glaze, banana pancake, filled with walnuts topped off with a maple glaze, mandarin orange cranberry with an orange glaze or our favorite, pumpkin oat spice with Indonesian cinnamon...perfect for the holidays! The ease at which these little treats can be prepared at home is astounding. Freezer to oven and there you have it, warm delicious scones, dripping with glaze.
