Away.com – The site for active travel Away.com is a great site for tourists that want travel that is active.
This site recommends tourists destinations by activity such as; biking, nature tours, authentic cultural events, paddling, sailing/cruising, snow sports, and gorilla watching to name but a few. The family travel feature includes the 100 Top family resorts, information on the best zoos and wildlife parks, theme parks, ski resorts with ski schools, surf spots good for kids and family destination guides, AND they tell you when is the best time to avoid crowds.
Travelers share their knowledge on things to do and what to skip on locations though out the world. So, if you are planning a trip that might include such things as cooking schools or where to go dog sledding, Away.com is a great site to find a destination with activities.
