Slow Travel – House, Apt or Villa rentals. Slowtrav.com is a great site for travelers that want to rent a house, apartment or villa by the week. This makes for a "different, slower, type of vacation." Slowtrav.com is not an online booking agency. They are a community and a resource, posting vacation rentals, photos, descriptions and details on their properties.
The site also features a message board, photo gallery and reviews submitted by members, on hotels, restaurants, and related destinations.
So, if you are looking for an alternative to hotels, check out Slowtrav.com, it is a great site for locating a place to rent for your next holiday.
