TravelIntelligence – First-hand submitted narratives. TravelIntelligence.net is a great site for articles about destinations. They provide a wealth of travel information written by people that have actually been to the places they describe.
The articles submitted on the site are detailed, descriptive and give the reader inside tips on everything from where to stay to what to do. The information is written and signed by experienced travelers that know what other travelers look for in a destination. The articles are not just bullets of facts, but first hand travel narratives about someone’s experiences. The reader really gets a sense of the place they intend to visit and what is in store for them when they arrive.
There is a hotel and review section, providing their best picks. The list of hotels may be limited, but the reviews of those hotels are detailed providing everything you need to know about making your travel choices.
We found ourselves using the interactive satellite map for images depicting the exact location of hotels and historic sites. The feature allows users to zoom in on a destination from a bird’s eye view.
If you are looking for some quality information about a destination, and well written travel journals by experienced travelers, then this site is for you.
