MedLinePlus deserves a Wink and a Nod from The Ratings Guy.
This all-inclusive Web site is put together by the U.S. National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health.
By name it should be one of the most authoritative sites around, and it is very well done! Some source content is from A.D.A.M., a highly reputable commercial supplier of health information.
Multi-media is well integrated with a variety of alternate resources. Information on prescription drugs, a health encyclopedia and current articles posted daily are strong features. Consumers can find the latest on research, disease overviews, diagnosis, treatment and prevention, all in a simple to navigate format.
This is what a great health care Web site should look like!
