The American Birding Association is a non for profit organization that "aims to inspire all people to enjoy wild birds." Membership information, educational programs, articles and links to birding resources can all be found here. Upcoming events, ways to get involved and programs for kids help make Americanbirding.org a great resource site. Their mission is to "bring more of birding excitement, challenge and wonder to you." They are the only organization in North America that specifically caters to recreational birders, by providing leadership, knowledge, skills and the enjoyment of birding. Reviewed 3/20/07 KH1,JM2
